Todays work with Owen we created some typography for a our game logos to give us an idea what we could use and how to make it. I first made a text box and typed Zion in all capitals and selected it. I then went on to make it bold and selected Type then create outline to make it so i can manipulate the image. For the first image i wanted a more sharp looking image that popped into my min so i made the ends of every thing more sharper extending them and the middle smaller. This made it look alot more cartoonish and i really like the way it looks. the other 3 was me messing around with the same font bending and weaving to make something look different.

This is all the coding that goes into my boss room. There are 3 universal codes in the game as of now which are the health mechanic of the games. Making it where when the room starts what ever health there was in the previous room also follows you into this room meaning if you were to take damage then your health would be lower during the boss fight making an element of difficulty to it. the next peice of code triggers the boss to spawn launching them into 3 directions as there are three bosses in my boss fight which are moving at a fast speed. The final piece of code is the code on the boss itself, The boss when ever it collides with a wall will bounce off in another direction and when ever the boss takes damage from your fireball it would spawn fire monsters in a circle you have to dodge or else you take damage.

In this room there are various different pieces of code that goes into my actual dungeon, The first mechanic you come across during the game is the doo mechanic where once you collect a key a door opens allowing you to progress, this is done by connecting a delte instance code ointo another object meaning when an event happens it deletes that object in the world allowing me to go fourth. Another peice of code is connected to the Fire monsters where if it collides with a wall it bounces back and if it hits a player the player takes damage while also bouncing back.  There is a bright yellow block that flashes different colour in my dungeone that also has this mechanic but when you collide with the object it kills you instead of damaging you. A final peice of code is right at the end of the dungeon where when you collide with it it teleport you into the boss room using the change room mechanic

These are the finished room design looks. A little more was added to this room like and entire bottom half of a maze. In Photoshop i created a basic colored background in the same pixel dimensions as each other the rooms to break up the aesthetic off plain walls as sometimes it disorientates you and looked like you weren't moving but in fact you were.

The Boss room Isiah made also has a background that i made in the same way as i created all
the other back grounds using photo shop.

This room is looking alot better with the added background, i added a few moving monster obstacles and creating a key door mechanic like i said i would in while also making the sprite mechanic for the game. This process was made by a simple deleting sprite causes another sprite to be destroyed too. I purposely made the back ground somewhat dark to give a little feel htta its and underground dungeon with no like and added various greens and yellows to make it feel dirty and moldy. There is no sprite for the bog yellow block as of ye but if i had to choose what it be is a giant monster with a huge mouth that will instantly kill you.

This i s my boss room and i also made the background dark to give it a feeling of the unknown as when you enter the room you dont see the boss until its too late. I used purples and Blacks as i really like the colour combos as it Makes it look like some sort of dark abyss

After the dungeons were made i need to have a start screen to introduce our game and make it look like it is a game. I did not make the mechanic to press enter how ever i did make the sprite and back ground image to add into the game, Isiah drew the background and on Photoshop I made an outline of the demon face and placed it on a gray back ground to make it pop. The press start to play i made my going onto a font page finding an 8Bit pixel style and taking a screen shot of it then making it fit the page.

The village design i also made and implemented the teleport to mu dungeon into the game, The village is where you get the quests and ability to go into my dungeon. It isnt as aesthetically pleasing as I thought it would of or should of been however you spend more time in the dungeons then the village so i htink i can get away with it. There were supposed to be multiple other buildings with their own specific properties i.e Blakcsmith, Genral shop, Mage shop and various others

This was our basic death screen we amde when ever your health went to 0 it would teleport you into this room, i made the background for the room.

This is the first mini game production me and Isiah designed, I started of by creating a small area for our creativeness to explore. we started off by making our player movement with the basic up/down/left/right. There are 5 black boxes each with their own pieces of code to bring the game alive. |3 of the squares move left and right bouncing of anything it touches and if it hits you it causes yo uto do damage. This is our first trap it was a basic but effective design for our first dungeon. The only thing made by me prior to this dungeon was the animation of the boss moving as the block moves the sprite flashes different colors and back to skull to simulate movement sprites.
This is my design for my dungeon that I made. in this place I wanted to make a design that is not similar to Isiah and has a unique effect to it such as collecting a key and unlocking a door and some player triggers entering the dungeon room. In my head  ialso wanted some monsters to target and attack however I couldn't actual code that to work as it would crash or error the game.
This was another dungeon design i made as an exploration map while having a locked off area for questing that would been added into our game. There would be to areas for two basic bosses you can fight and one main boss you fight during the main Quest. This has not been added to the game just yet and might be unlocked as a DLC in the future.

Shrinking these down caused multiple challenges during the process. The main process being how the pixels actually caused the images to be highly distorted and unrecognizable and so i had to go on the outline to create a border to define the image itself. This Made the pictures look more defied and you can tell to some degree what it actually is supposed to be, the ice-cream was a little more complicated due to getting the proportions right which i did a bad job of but it worked in the end.. afterwards i made the eyes pop a little adding red and blue to give it some sort of tone to the actual characters.

This lesson i was working on cutting out our sprite images to add them into the game these main body part and monster will all have their own animation when they move hence why they are all individual. Problem i came across was when importing them into game maker the file was too big for the actual image which happened due to the amount of pixels that i forgot to down size it too so that is what i will be doing next lesson.

We were split into groups to create a web layout once again but this time we had to learn a new type of code called FlexBox which allows us to view our sites on our phones much better than any other type of code which is a plus side. How we created this is in a similar sense using divs with added flexbox integers.

This is the code i used to create my website with isiah, there is alot of div integers and editing using basic css and barely any flex boxes in the sequence but they are added :D

Todays Dwayne presented us with a challenge, we recapped on how to make a new project then had 3 hours to create it. We had to choose a layout and create a similar website that uses that layout. We were given no help and only 5 life lines to ask Dwayne to support us. I enjoyed this task alot as it helped me use me common sense and basic knowledge yo figure it out myself and if i did struggle i had Dwayne to learn from.

Wolf Cards

In today lesson we practiced web layouting using floats in our divs to space things out correctly. We started off by doing some small exercises to help us create our cards in the top picture. to create the cards i first added a div, inside the div i added a heading paragraph and image of a wolf and a description. i copy pasted the same layout for each of these and but changed the l;anes in the ehading the iamges and the background colour. the CSS i added some basic div making
